SO and I are finally getting our own apartment! It's in the same building he currently lives in and we can just transfer his lease. Hardwood floors, huge windows, open floorplan and a walk-in closet. The only drawback is that the bedroom isn't much bigger than the closet, but the rest of the place is pretty big.

This is the first step in our plan to get to the city where I'm going to grad school. For the first semester or maybe the first year, I'll commute and then we're going to try to move there. But right now, I'm just excited that he's giving the awful roommate the boot and we're getting our own place- just in time for the holidays!

Sounds awesome! And congrats on grad school, I hadn't heard because I haven't been on the board for a while. But I remember how much you wanted to get ahead in your career. Glad it's coming together!
