My ten year high school reunion is at the end of the month and I can't figure out what to wear. It started out as a formal and has been downsized to an evening at a hotel bar blankstare.
I don't think we will end up staying very long so I don't want to spend a fotune on something new. However, I do want to look totally fabulous.

I'm hoping to use something I have and maybe get a new top or shoes or something. Help me with ideas please?

I have a great black pencil skirt that I heart.gif or maybe jeans. I'm not sure how dressed up I want to get. I want to wear something really awesome and fun without being uncomfortable or overdressed. I need help!  frustrated.gif

I think this would look gorgeous with your coloring and the black pencil skirt or jeans...

a sweater could look cute and make the pencil skirt more casual (plus, I know you live in Canada and it may be chilly)

I feel you on this challenge. For my 10th, which was similar to yours (hotel bar/small banquet room) I wore a business suit with a twist - an ivory silk/linen blend since it was late summer, and black fancy cami underneath.

However, I stood out (in a good way) since everyone in the 'mommy' crowd was in black cocktail dresses.

I think D. has it right with the first option of black dressy slacks and a sexy blouse, even something that's more bare on top. You could add a cardigan and decide if you want to be covered or not.
