Cool Product and Drinkware Question
Permalink Closed

Check out this super cool tea infuser! It's made of silicone. So cool.

Question. The acrylic drinkware we bought for outdoor use near the pool has cracked and clouded really bad from the dishwasher. I see that Williams-Sonoma sells DuraClear cups, but they're expensive. Also, my hub is really particular about style. There is only one from which to choose.

They make silicone-everything-else...has anyone ever seen silicone tumblers for use as drinking glasses? I know it might not work if the material is too squeezable, but I thought I'd at least find an attempt at them... Ideas?

What glass-alternatives do you use for the patio?

I just buy cheap acrylic and replace it every year.

Haven't seen silicone drinkware.

I don't like drinking out of plastic. We use real glasses outdoors and we haven't broken any yet. (I only break glasses when I'm washing them...) And anyhoo, it's as cheap to replace a real wineglass as buy new plasticware.

What about metal? Aluminum isn't that safe, but occasional use wouldn't kill ya.
