ah, jaymiek, you evil enabler. I strolled over to the bloomingdales sale and they had one of these left, and it happened to be my size:

Toby wrap dress large view

We'll see if it gets cancelled, and whether it fits correctly. I am not sure of the colors on me, either, but I love the cut, and couldn't pass it up for the price!

I also ordered mini versions of these earlier this week:

The Mike & Chris sample sale was mostly a bust. There were no Baileys, Frankies, Lincolns or any of the really standout items left but I did get this Travis hoodie in olive green for $75, which fits really nicely and is a great basic style.

Got basics at H&M

Black turtleneck tee (for layering under dresses and such when it gets colder) and pair of straight leg jeans (since I ripped a nice gash through my left leg on my Joe's skinny trousers. hmm)

I'd comapre the fit to the Madewell Rail Straight jean, with a higher rise and more fabric so that there's no threat of revealing underwear. I had wanted a pair of APC-like denim for YEARS but APC cuts too straight and slim so I had to look for alternatives. These were only $40.

I'm happy my purchase inspired you, halleybird! I also used the 20% off coupon. wink Bot boy, their shipping costs almost eat up what you save.

Picked out a new flat iron since my CHI finally broke. cry This one's a HairArt.

And, err, I didn't really need any more shampoo and conditioner, but I got carried away.

This I did need! My hair hasn't looked as good since I quit using it.

And finally, to feed my lip balm addiction:

I went to a huge art fair with a wad of cash today, hoping to find stuff to decorate my new house. I had no such luck and came home empty-handed, so I bought a few things off of Etsy I've been eyeing:

wall graphic, I haven't decided if this is going in my bedroom or peeking out from behind my couch:

and a print:
