The makeupalley reviews are all crazy about the Essence of Beauty brushes at CVS. I bought a couple the other day since I needed a new eyeshadow brush, and they are really amazing, especially for the price! My other brushes are Sonia Kashuk and MAC. These are definitely better than the SK brushes, and they may be better than the MAC ones as well. Best of all, they are less than $5 each! I am not sure if they'll hold up any better/worse, but they are extremely soft. I bought this double-ended eyeshadow brush: and a slanted eyeliner brush I can't find on the site, but it looks like this one, and it's really awesome -- great for applying shadow as liner. link to makeupalley reviews Anyway, figured I'd post since they are on sale this week. __________________ "We live in an age where unnecessary things are our only necessities." --Oscar Wilde

Thanks! I've been looking for a new angled eyeliner brush and wanted to find one on the cheap. I'd almost given up on finding a decent one in a drugstore price range. These sound perfect. __________________ http://dailypointers.blogspot.com/
