Pink+Brown?

Remember the dress that I finally found that I loved that I planned to wear to a wedding in Oct?  Yea well I lost it on the street on the way to the tailor.  Yep, it fell out of the garment bag and someone must have snatched it before I noticed.  Anyways I have a new one,

Anne Klein Dress Silk Chiffon Babydoll Dress

The color is a rich milk chocolate.  I would pair it with bronze or brown heels but I am tempted to liven it up with some color, and I am loving these heels:

Sarno

Does that seem tacky?   Its from nine west, the color is "dark pink satin"  What color bag would I do?

bummer! I can't believe that happened! I'm sorry. Anyway, I think those shoes are great and would look really cute.

Love the color combination and I think that looks really pretty together. Bummer about the original dress though!

Anyway, as far as the bag goes, how about bronze or ivory? I wouldn't do pink (too matchy-matchy) and brown would be kind of boring.

Love the pink shoes with the dress! And I agree, bronze, gold or brown clutch.

Sorry, about your first dress! That stinks that someone didn't say something when they seen it fall out!

I agree on the bag colors posted. You could also try for a cute pattern. I could see a 60s-ish paisley being really cute.

And I LOVE the shoes with that dress. The shoes are really pretty IRL, too.

ACK! I went to Nine West yesterday and tried them on:

1) they didnt have my size
2) I squeezed my foot into a smaller size only to realize that the "loop" detailing at the top is huge and distracting! Its like bigger than my foot and silly looking.

So thats a no go.

I think I will keep with the pink concept. If anyone sees a similar shoe with less silly adornment, let me know!

Limited sizes, but these pink ones are kind of "grownup Barbie" (Overstock, Jessica Simpson, $44)
Nine West Jessa Slingback Pumps
These are satin but may not be dressy enough with the stacked heel - Famous Footwear, Steve Madden, $50:
Steve Madden Women's Lexi
This is a nice color too - Shoebuy.com, Luichiny, $53

Love these and think they'd look adorable with that dress!  Hmmm, I wonder if I can convince DH that I need another pair of fushica heels in my wardrobe wink.gif
