Did anybody else watch? I thought it was interesting. I really wonder though if they actually do get a little help from adults that they don't show. Nine and ten year olds making a good breakfast all by themselves? Obviously there are some adults around for the camera crew, but hmm. Anyhow, I liked it, and will watch again.
I didn't think the breakfast looked good, but when the younger kids cooked it, obviously they had help. I thought it was ridiculous how the older girl couldn't even cook pasta right.
Ok, truthfully I did not watch the show, but I've seen all the hype. I was initially interested in the concept, but then thought about it more... The producers are obviously in charge of everything, I mean they have to be to do the show in the premise they want. If everything really was left up to the kids, it would be a real life version of Lord of the Flies. I just couldn't buy into the hype because I think it is obviously heavily guided by adults, not children.
Oh, and also about adults actually running the town...what's stopping the kids from raiding the candy, dry goods, and saloon? I agree, it would totally be Lord of the Flies!
