My mom has had it rough the last couple of weeks and I wanted to send her something nice, so I thought i would send her some chocolates. Anyone know a really nice company that ships?

My dad is a major chocoholic, so I send him chocolates often. Places might require overnight shipping depending on time of year or destination. I know he got a melted box of chocolates from someone (he lives in FL).
I have shipped him Godiva and there were no problems. Last year, he told me about a local company he really likes, so I've shipped him these. They have great CS: http://www.normanloveconfections.com/
I visited Lake Champlain Chocolate factory this summer in Burlington, VT. It's not the best chocolate on earth, but I truly enjoyed their Select/Single Origin line. It was fun to eat each square and think about from what region of the world it came.
I have never had it, but I have seen it featured on TV and in magazine articles before. THe chocolatier is known for weird combinations of flavors with chocolate - -in addition to more traditional pairings.

I'm pretty sure the Marshall Fields Frango mints (chocolate-covered) are still being sold even though Macy's now owns MF. That's kind of a tradition for a client of mine from Chicago.
