I've recently heard buzz about a partnership between the two- anyone have any more details?  I'd love to know whether this means a more affordable Som line is in the works for the department store- I adore his collection, but I can't afford it!

Any thoughts?

The articles I've seen said that the company which owns L&T purchased a majority stake in Peter Som's company and that while they don't even carry his clothing now it is possible that in the future they could offer a lower-priced line.

That would be fantastic, I'll keep my fingers crossed. I was initially surprised by the move, but it must be part of their rebranding efforts. I've seen all their new ads, which look great, but haven't been in the store lately- I wonder whether they've made any major changes to the store's interior, or selection?
