Has anyone ever used http://www.restaurant.com? It has a ton of restaurants listed and says they'll sell you a $25 gift certificate for $10 (there are restrictions on a lot of them, like a minimum bill or only certain days/times). Is this too good for be true?

I've never heard of that site but I know there are a lot of programs like that. I think the restaurants do it as a promotional thing to get more business. I haven't done it but a lot around here offer $50 for $25.

It isn't too good to be true per se but there are often restrictions to it such as having to spend a certain amount to use the gc.  For instance, you buy a $25 gc for $10 but you have to spend $35 to use it.  Not bad IF you truly love the restaurant.  Hope that helps!
