i love how it looks like a completely different dress without the tie/sash in the second photo. i can see me wearing it both ways. i'm thinking of the "oxide" color in the first pic. $206 @ michael stars. but regardless of the price, what are your thoughts on the style?

I love it! My preference is the green color, but both are beautiful. I love that it is styled two completely different ways. I actually think the price isn't too bad either.

I really like it. I really like the green color too. I agree about the price being high, but knowing me I would get it anyway. ashamed

I really like it and think you could definitely pull it off.  I like it better with the belt.

I like it in the second pic, and although I like how it's "convertible," I don't like the neckline/sleeves at all without something underneath. I can't imagine it being flattering.

I love it. Michael Stars stuff holds up well, so I don't think the price is bad at all, especially since you can easily get a lot of looks out of it (belted, not belted, layered, not layered, etc.).

this is exactly why i'm fine with the price. i know the fabric will be excellent quality and wash up really well over and over and over again.

thanks for all your input everyone! i'm still deciding on the color but leaning towards the green at this point.

Skip the tie, I'd like either one with a corset belt
