I've had bangs for the past year as well. They are fun. They really do change your look. I just got my bangs cut this past weekend, however I think the my hairdresser cut them too short. But in a couple weeks I think I will like them better, after they grow out a bit.

i had a fairly thick fringe cut in recently and i really like it, so i say go for it! the only thing is that because my hair is kind of wavy, i need to straighten my fringe to stop it looking really big and messy

I think you should try it. I think the thicker bangs are a little more current, but you should go with whichever will flatter you more.

Over the years, I have had bangs on and off. I like them but they are so hard to keep up and I had to trim them every few weeks. I don't like going to the hairdresser that often (though most will give you a free bang trim) so I always end up growing them out after a month or two--and the growing-out stage sucks!
