TB shoes a fad or a staple?
Permalink Closed

I am debating getting a  pair of TB flats. I have resisted since it seems that EVERYONE has them.

Now I am sort of giving in an wanting to buy a pair - but do you think they are going to be a quick trend or stick around for a while?

In general - what are your thoughts? Too popular, too trendy?

My thoughts.. Fad, they won't fade soon though, give it another year. They are a staple though, so you will find yourself wearing them over and over again.

I've never been a fan and it seems like I see them or knockoffs everywhere I go.
I feel like there are so many cute, unique flats right now, I wouldn't want to buy something so overdone.

That being said, I kind of like this version: toryb2000318273_201x396.jpg

I think they are super cute, but I also think they're a fad. This probably depends on where you live, but I think that we're past the ideal point for buying them. I think their peak moment of "coolness" has passed somewhat. That being said, you can definitely wear them for quite a while longer and they'll still be adorable, so get them if you love them, especially if they're in a slightly different version like the ones boobaby posted.

I think they will be like Uggs, a fad that then becomes a staple due to practicality.

I own a pair and I think they are so basic and comfy but still very chic. Mine are orange, a color I chose because it was more unique.

I personally think it is a little too late to purchase them, they are everywhere, which means they are "out" in my opinion, specially with sooo many knockoffs.

Eh, I've never been a fan. I don't think they are totally "out" or whatever, but I do think there are cuter, more unique flats available.

I think they will become a staple, they will be around for a while. I have black ones and they always dress up an outfit.

I agree that their probably like Uggs. I still wear my Uggs and I'll most likely still wear my TB Revas. I like them, their comfortable and not that it matters, but I know I have the real thing and not the knockoffs.
