I have insomnia again.  So, I came up with a cheesey poem to share with you gals.  Please share yours too.


Summertime is dear to all, but more this year to me.
So many changes have occured but none that all can see.

Looking back these months were different from others in the past.
So many times I  cried and groaned for things that could not last.

My health, my love, my spirit were all horribly torn apart.
I had to work on many things to help me with a fresh new start.

Aside from all the sadness and the pain that summertime had brought,
I found it to be constant, steady, and true with the other things I sought.

The sun shone brightly everyday warming up my soul,
The county fair came 'round again, with all things wonderful.

The dolphins shared a beach day with the kids out on the sea,
I took time out from the daily hustle to see what's inside of me.

So, good or bad, happy or sad, summertime is here.
It holds a special place for all because it is so dear.
