Another Perm Question

After reading the other perm thread I decided to do it...eek, i know.  It was my first perm ever (i got it done last night) and i was told not to wash my hair for 3 DAYS! I' dying already.  The smell of the chemicals is enough to knock you off your eat.  Does anyone have any suggestions of how to deal?

Okay :) give me a few days tho, saying as I can' even wash it until tonight (I'm going nuts!) and I still have NO IDEA how to style curly hair...I will tell you this, their "widest rod" wasn't as wide as I thought is would be. my hairis a little more spiral than I had hoped for. In addition, he only let the chemicls sit on my hair for 5 minutes, instead of the typical 20, and it is STILL very very curly. I sure hope I didn't make a mistake.

ETA: If you guys know of any websites that show cute hair do's of curly hair, or have tips for dealing with curly hair I would appreciate it. I just have no idea how to style it.

I think your perm should loosen up a little bit. I wouldn't worry too much.

Sorry I was away or I would have responded! How is it looking now? I don't really "style" mine. I just put a combination of Sebastian's Potion 9 and whatever gel I have on it and then let it air dry. That way it doesn't get frizzy.
