I'm going this weekend to get another tattoo but I'm havig a hard time finding exactly what I want. I want to get wings or an angel of some sort on my back. Pretty much to represent my dying and coming back, my resurrection I guess. I hate that Nicole Richie has wings on her back but that's pretty much what I want. However I'd like to find wings that are unique, possibly from a piece of art.
I know nothing about art, so I'm hoping some of you ladies who know art better than me can find me some wings that I can take to the tattoo artist to give him an idea of what I'm looking for. TIA!

Angel wings on the back are pretty common. I've seen tons of girls that have the same tattoo. If you want to be different, I think the trick is to get wings that are unique. I've seen some artwork with wings at istockphoto.com that I think could translate to a tattoo.

Speaking of tattoos, I kinda like to have a winged heart, but I dunno if I'll ever get a tattoo.

^^ I know a girl who has a heart thats made of wings. Like the wings folded down, to create a heart. Its really cool looking.
