So I bought the Chanel over the knee leather boots. I can't find a pic online but they're similar to the ones Anne Hathaway wore in Devil Wears Prada but they com to just over the knee. Im having a hard time swallowing the price and would like a cheaper alternative. so looking for black leather suede whatever over the knee boot that doesn't look like a hooker heel. Price range less than $1500. TIA!!

those versaces are really pretty, but i agree i bet they don't hold a candle to the chanels.

eta: these stuart weitzman's at bloomingdales are only 475. i think they are sexy, even if they don't have a traditional heel. (wedge)

i'll look some more because i have a pair of otk boots (vintage from ebay) and i find them a lot more versatile than i thought they would be.
