Does anyone know where I can get one of these? I want one where there is absolutely no catch- I signed up for a Best buy one a couple of years ago so I could pay off a digital camera over the course of a year. It was great- like a layaway plan. The reason I ask is because I want a Mac laptop in the next month and would like to pay it off monthly, without paying any interest. I have half saved already and know I won't have any trouble paying it off, but would rather budget monthly than throw down all the money at once.
Here's a good place to compare all the offers out there:

thanks! now i'm looking at them and they all seem to offer this- is there any that are better than others? Should i get an Amex- seems like they have ones w/o annual fees. I already have mastercards and visas. Not sure if they're all the same, but I do know some places only accept Amex.
I have a citi visa card that has 12 months no intrest, it has been good. I wanted a visa because everywhere takes it- i personally have never been to a store that only taked amex, so i would say get a visa, although if you are only using it for a mac, and they take both, i guess it doesnt matter
My bf bought a mac through Comp USA (I think that's right), which is a certified Apple dealer. They have much better deals than the cc offers - he got his for 2 or 3 years no interest. Try there first.
I have a Chase Visa and I believe they do the year no interest thing but I love them because my interest rate is only 7.9%. One of the best I've seen. My credit is good but not outstanding or anything.
My Costco Amex was interest free for awhile, but I'm not sure how long it lasted. Now it's 17%, so we don't use it much, just gas at Costco to earn points, but we pay it off every month. Amex is the only cc that Costco takes (they take debit, though). Costco is the only retailer that I've run across in a long time that only takes Amex. I remember about 15 or so years ago, when Target was just getting really popular, Amex was the only card they took!
We had a 0% interest card from Wamu that was awesome. No interest, plus a free credit report every month. We don't have it anymore, and it totally sucks. When my husband had been in Korea only a few months, we switched all our online bill pay from BofA to another bank. He got confused on what he had paid and what he hadn't and the WaMu bill was late. They took away our freakin' 0% int. over ONE late payment. We both have excellent credit, had never been late before, blah blah blah. They didn't want to hear a word of it and didn't care if we cancelled. Next time we need another 0% card, I'm going to guard it with my life. They mean business when they offer those!
