A long shot.. Stretchy Pinstripe pants
Permalink Closed

I am in a dance class (Old school Janet Jackson) and I have a recital coming up in about 1 1/2 weeks.  I just found out that part of my costume is pinstripe pants (and wifebeater and suspenders).  I have a bunch of pairs of pinstripe pants in my closet, however this routine requires alot of rolling around on the floor/squatting/strattling chairs.  I need a pant that has more stretch than my usual pants that have like, 98% wool/2% lycra.

Has anyone come across stretchy/comfy pinstripe black pants?

Since I only have a week, I can't do any mail ordering either.  Thanks!

Maybe try going to F21? They seem like they would have pants with more stretch. I'd also look in juniors' departments for those.

I totally want to take that class!!

I assume you don't want to spend a bunch on a costumey item. Newport-News has a pair they describe as 'cotton/polyester/spandex stretch' but they don't give percentages:

Also a knit pair:

Check their clearance pages too - ya never know.

I just got this pair from gap: http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=11416&pid=498360

They are not skin tight and in my opinion they are very stretchy and comfortable. They are navy, though, and I'm not sure if the pinstripe is super bright so I don't know if they'd be good.
