Any Chicago Ladies Here? What to wear?

Hello all,
I am going to Chicago at the end of August. Can  you tell me what the weather is usually like at this time of year? I'm assuming it will still be warm during the day. Does it get cool at night. I'm planning on going to a White Sox game and hitting the town to bars and a nice resturant a few nights I'm there. Haven't figured out what I'll be wearing yet. blankstare

It's pretty hard to predict, unfortunately. A couple years ago, my bff visited me in mid-August, and it was chilly. Chances are it will be in the low 80s in the daytime.

Boobaby is right- our weather is pretty erratic- it can be hot one minute then drop like 20 degrees out of nowhere...But typically, August is still pretty warm...but to be on the safe side, I'd bring a light jacket or wrap for night time activities- or for places that crank up the air conditioning so it's freezing inside! (I hate that!!)
