Classiques Entier® Scoop Neck Dress
I have been in love with this look (except for the shoes) since I got the Norstrom Anniversary catalog.  My bday is coming up and I am thinking of buying the jumper, but it is $160ish.  Have you seen any cheaper alternatives or should I just get this one?

It doesn't sound all that unreasonable for a good basic that you can wear a bunch of ways. (I can see a lot of options.)

It's a wool-silk blend so it should be long-wearing, and the style is classic enough that you can probably wear it for a long time.

That's so pretty, and a good price too. Theory makes something similar each fall and it's always $300+

I really like that look too and it does have a very classic look.  I think it would be worth it but may be more than I would pay but then I get tired of clothes fast.

I vote yes.

If you can afford it and are looking at it as an investment piece, it is totally worth the $$$. if it's out of your price range or you are looking at it as a trendy piece, i'm sure you can find a look for less.

The fabric looks beautiful in the photo, and you can change the look of it so easily. I think it is definately worth the money as it will never go out of style.

You could wear it each season simply by adding the color/style of the moment accessories.

I really like it.  Especially if it's a wool/silk blend, you can wear it all year round.  I say get it, especially if it's a flattering cut!

I agree it is worth it. You can get many different looks from it so that can justify the price.

Thanks so much everybody for your input.  When I get my bday money I probably will go for it.  On the one hand I think I could make it myself, but I am just so tired of sewing right now.

That is so beautiful, and like the others said classy and timeless. Considering the amount of wear you will get out of it, I think its worth the money.
