Need an outfit for a LONG international flight!!!

I need a cute, but COMFY outfit for my upcoming trip to Seoul.  I leave from Phoenix in the evening on Sept. 2, and don't arrive in Seoul until over 24 hours later.  It's a red-eye, so I definitly want to sleep, but I'm meeting up with my hubby, so I want to look somewhat cute!

What would you wear?

Would you be willing to carry an extra outfit with you and change once you get to Seoul? I would do that, as well as bringing travel size bottles of all the products you'll need to look cute. I can't imagine Incheon having nasty bathrooms...it's so new.

But if you can't, I'd wear a l/s jersey dress (Rachel Pally caftan type would be great) with ballet flats or yoga pants, ballet flats, and a sweater with a cute lace-trim tank underneath Bring socks for your feet on the plane and a pashmina/blanket to wrap yourself in.

ugh - I hate 24 hour travel times - and the plane is so freaking disgusting when you land - it's like sleeping with a couple hundred farting people with bad morning breath and the bathrooms are gross from so many people using them for so long bleh

I would recommend knit pants, a knit short sleeve top, and cardigan for the plane (you may want to hike up your legs in your seat, and a skirt may be more hassle than it's worth.  a pashmina and socks are a good idea too.  I would pack a knit dress to change into (something that will work with your cardigan), and maybe wear some ballerina flats on the plane to also wear with your dress (your feet will be very swollen by the time you land)

drinking tons of water will be the best thing you can do to remain as fresh as possible. You may also want to exercise your legs periodically with stretching exercises to help cut down on the swelling and safeguard yourself against blood clots.  I would also bring some baby wipes in a baggie or something to give yourself a little sponge bath in the bathroom as well as wash your face. You can do your makeup and hair in your seat if you bring a little mirror to put on your tray.

I absolutely love jersey or cotton wrap dresses for planes. They're comfy, look cute, and at adjustable - so it can be form-fitting when you land and see hubby, but you can loosen it up for the long flight. And definitely bring a little blanket - some planes are freaking COLD!

Thanks, girls.  I think I'll definitly carry an extra outfit just in case, but I'll probably follow D's advice.  I have no knit pants (besides sweats), so I guess I'll have to hunt down an outfit soon.

D, could you post an example of the knit pants you are thinking of?  All I can picture in my head are the elastic waist knit pants my grandma wears!
