Does anyone know of a photographer/videographer in Arizona that they would recommend?  We're getting married in October and I don't even know where to start looking.  I want to make sure I get someone from a referral otherwise it could be a complete nightmare!

I don't have any AZ-specific recs, but I'd check out your local board on The Knot and your local newspaper as well.  You can also google yourcity+weddings and see what comes up - many larger cities have their own wedding vendor directory sites smile.gif.

I got married in Tucson - not sure how much this will help you, but Lyn Sims (photograher) and Black Sheep (video) were both wonderful.  I hate pictures of myself and think videos are cheezy, but the pics are stunning and the video is great!

thanks dude, but my photog was absolute crap. Beachgirl doesn't want him, trust me.

ETA: beachgirl, where in AZ? My friend got married last October and her pics were beautiful. I can look up the name if you're getting married in the Phoenix area.

I'm getting married in Mesa.  I found one company who will do it for $1000 for both, which is just incredibly cheap.  I'm a little worried because I feel like it's TOO cheap, but at the same time, we really can't afford more, so I think we'll end up going with them.  We meet with them on Sunday.
