I just signed up. I don't even really get what I am supposed to get out of it.

I've been a member for about a year. So far, the only things I've gotten out of it are more "deluxe" free samples when you make a purchase, a coupon for a free, small size, Philosophy 3 in 1 on my birthday, and emails offering me products before they're offered to other customers. That's about it. I wish they'd actually give Insiders coupons.

I surpassed the $100.00 mark quite early because I bought that Missoni fragrance. Every $100.00 you spend (not on gift certs) qualifies you to get a free sample (I think in addition to the ones you normally get from Sephora online??) from the exclusive, better collection.

Thanks, shopchicago, for mentioning what you got for your bday. I was curious to see what the special gift was. I hope they offer something else when my bday comes along! :)

I swear, I get an Insider sample everytime I buy anything from there - I've never been told I had to reach $100....

I think when I signed up (a couple of weeks ago) the email said that I would get a mini Bliss body butter on my birthday.

I haven't bought anything from Sephora in months, so I haven't gotten any of their insider specials.

Was your birthday in May? That's what I got. I think it changes monthly.

I am an insider - I don't think I've bought much though so I haven't reaped the benefits other than the emails.

SHouldn't you be getting a free sample every time you shop? I always ask if they have samples - thats how I found my favorite perfume like 5 years ago.

And if you didn't know if you want to try a makeup product even, they can give you a sample in a little jar so you can try it out for more than 1x. I tried Laura Mercier's tinted moisturizer this way.

I am an insider and I buy most of my make-up there...I get a deluxe sample everytime i shop. aLso for my birthday I got the Bliss body butter. You really do not get that much except samples, but since you don't have to do to much to get it, it is worth it.

I talked to a girl at Sephora today and she told me the Insider program is going to expand and get bigger. Apparently there are going to be products offered only to insiders, special shopping hours, and some other things. I guess if we just hang in there, it might be worth it.

Did they send you something for your bday or did you know to go in there and get it? I'm an insider and haven't seen any of the benefits yet and my bday wasn't that long ago!

They sent me a card around my bday w/a coupon for the free Philosophy 3 in 1. I had to physically go in the store and get it. When you signed up, did you make sure you put your bday down?

I signed in to see if I had and I can't find a place where it would be so I'm not sure. When you log in and go to your insider account is there anywhere that you see your bday? Maybe I'm an idiot and I'm missing it.

I think the 1st email I got said I would get it if I entered the special code online when I made a purchase.

Honestly, I'm not sure - I didn't sign up online. I happened to be in the store when they were first launching it last year and I filled out the paperwork there. Maybe you could call or email them?
