How long after getting your hair colored (a tint in my case) do you wait before shampooing?

I'd like to wait two days but I usually only make it 36 hours before I shampoo. I feel so grody.

I wash the next day. I have to wash my hair every single day or I feel disgusting.

ok, its been 24 hours, i usually wait 48, but i did a hardcore workout this morning and i cant wiat any longer. eekk, hopefully this doesnt do too much damage.

i rarely color my hair, but i usually wash the next day. when you think about it, your colorist washes your hair immediately after it finishes processing. the only type of color i would wait for would be semi or demi permanent color.

I wash mine the next day.  I can't wait any longer than a day in between shampooings or my scalp becomes an oily mess.

 Same here.  I tried waiting longer once, and I looked and felt gross.

I usually wash the same day. My hair feels like it has too much product in it after I get it colored. I dont think it's made the color fade any faster.

I wait as long as I possibly can. I can hold out for awhile after it's colored because for some reason my hair doesn't get as oily right after?? I don't know but I can go almost a week when I get it dark, a few days when I go blonde. Of course I only wash 2-3 times a week as is, so I'm used to it. But my stylists always tell me to hold out as long as possible.

I always get my hair done after work, so it's finished in the late evening. The next morning I don't wash it, becuase it's not greasy yet and is still nicely styled. By the following morning it needs it, and I wash it then. At which point it's been 36ish hours.

This is partly for convenience and partly becuase I hope my color won't fade as quickly.
