Curling your hair with a flat iron
Permalink Closed

I've had several people ask me how I curl my hair with my flat iron and since it's kind of hard to explain, I made a video. Thought I'd post it here too, for anyone here who was curious smile.gif

I used Carrie's method, here are the results.

My hair has NO curl to it whatsoever, and has a hard time holding curls.

I combed out the curls a bit with my fingers, then sprayed spray gel on my hands and scrunched them.

Carrie - I use the straightener for my curls/waves as well. Question: when you had longer hair (mine's pretty long), did you have a trick for keeping the hair from falling out of the Chi when it gets towards the end? Not falling out, exactly, but sliding down to the bars until it's no longer between the ceramic bars. Does that make sense? I have to do a lot of my pieces 2 and 3 times to get the entire length of my hair done. Any suggestions?

You know, I'd have to go over then ends a couple of times myself. Sometimes I'd get good hair placement in the iron, but it was never like that all the time. Sorry I'm not much help!

I can't wait to try it out...I have long and full hair, so we'll see if I can pull it off...I'm terrible at fixing my hair...lol. If it works out, I'll post!
