Sorry, I'm just excited about my new cut!  I haven't had my hair short in several years, at least, so it's fun right now smile

Anyways, I got 4-5" cut off last night!  Please ignore the stupid expressions, lol. I always end up concentrating on the camera screen, which makes my expressions kind of funny, haha.

I love it! Your hair was really pretty before but your new cut looks like the perfect cut for summer. Is all that wave if the before pic natural? If so, I'm way jealous, and if not, how did you get it there?

Nope, that wave is not natural at all.....I did it with my flat iron (technique is basically the same as curling ribbon with scissors).  My natural wave is like this:

Oh but your hair is naturally wavy, just not in the before pic. I have some wave to my hair but it's mixed with A LOT of frizz so I pretty much have to straighten it every day. I'm gonna try your technique though and see if it works for me!

Yep, it's naturally wavy, but the before pic was "done" with my flat iron.  The second wavy pic is my air-dried hair that I did nothing to, lol.  I only wish my natural wave was like the "done" pic!  To do that with your flat iron though, make sure you have a tiny one, like 1", and the grab a small section of hair, angle the iron at 45 degrees roughly, and pull the iron slowly through the section smile
