STYLETHREAD -- LET'S TALK SHOP!

Just a warning, I have those Bernardo sandals and I hate them. 1) The soles are incredibly slippery, even though I've broken them in. I slide on carpet, my wooden deck, everything. 2) Because of the strap being where it is, there's nothing really to hold the bottom part to your foot when you're walking, so the shoes make me walk funny. 3) There's wire within the straps to help them hold their shape.  In mine, the wire has broken in multiple places and has poked through the leather. That leaves me with jagged pieces of metal wire sticking out and randomly jabbing me in the foot.

Seriously, I hate these shoes and wish I hadn't bought them, which is a shame because I love the way they look. But for $90, they were a complete waste of money for me and totally disappointing.

NCShopper Wow, dang, that sucks! I already have the Mistrals and just assumed that these would be the same quality. Hmm, I might continue my hunt then!

Cat Unfortunately, UO doesn't go below a size 6 in 99.9% of their shoes, so they don't work for my teeny size 5 feet I wish they did though, since they often have cute shoes that I want!

Hmmm, some of my criteria:  Real leather, silver, has to have adjustable straps, COMPLETELY flat (I don't want  even a 1/4" heel), obviously in a size 5 or it won't work.

That's all I can think of for now, but I'm telling ya, I've looked everywhere and nothing.  Zappos, Piperlime, Amazon, countless specific shoe stores.....

Oooh, I like that last pair a lot!  Do they ship shoes to the US now then?  I had heard, at least in the past, that they didn't...
