Have anyone ever used regular old olive oil on thier face or body? I've used it with sugar as a scrub and have really liked it but haven't tried it as a moisturizer.
I use it on my feet/toes right before I paint my nails. I dab a little oil onto a cloth and disperse it on my feet. I then take a dry, soft towel and buff it off my nails.
As long as I have a good polish and use a basecoat, I think the oil helps the polish stay on longer.
It's a great quick fix if you are in need of a pedi but don't have time for one. A little bit quickly calms down any peeling, ashy, calousy skin. I will often rub in a tiny bit before going out.
My sister uses it as a hair treatment. I've done it before too. She uses it just like one would use that Ojon Hair Treatment. Put some in your hair mostly on the ends when you know you will be home for a couple hours. Maybe clean the house or watch a movie or something then wash it out well.
In a pinch, like when I can't find a chapstick (or I'm just too lazy to walk to the other end of the house), I will use my finger to apply a little olive oil on my lips.
i have used it as a deep conditioner before, like pollyjean described.
recently, i have been using it on a cotton ball to take off makeup and it works really well. it takes waterproof mascara right off (better than any other remover i have tried). i feel like it's better than using makeup remover b/c its natural and moisturizing -- i don't like the idea of rubbing petroleum based makeup remover all over my eyes. now i keep a small glass bottle of olive oil in the bathroom.
