Review of BR ballet flats and Bakers sandals

Well, love the BR flats.  They fit perfectly, although right now they need a little breaking in since they were rubbing my heels and causing discomfort.  I WILL find a way to make them comfy since I'm not letting them go, lol smile

Here's a pic of them on:

The Bakers sandals just don't work.  The silver looks kind of cheap in person and on my foot, the back strip of leather sticks out about 1" away from my heel when I'm walking in them.  It basically looks ridiculous so they're going back.  I can take IRL pics of this when I get home from work if anyone wants though.  Other than that, they seemed pretty comfy.  Here's a pic for reference:

Sooooo, because I am going to return the Bakers ones, I just ordered these from Zappos (they're by French Connection) to see if they work better:

Cute flats.  They are perfect candidates for pairing with those foot liners from HUE I have mentioned in the past.  My Gap ballet flats rub in a few places when I fail to wear the liners.

Just an FYI on these:  HUE recently changed them.  The fabric is nicer and the edging around the opening of the liners is of a higher quality, but it made them less scanty than they used to be (bummer).  I still like them, but I now have to be a little more dilligent about pushing them down into the shoe.  If you decide to try them, be sure you get the "hidden" version.  Look for the package with the woman wearing lime green flats and turquoise liners.
