ISO Mid-Thigh Trouser Shorts

We're taking DD to Disneyland next week for her 3rd birthday.  Since it'll be really hot, I want to wear shorts, however most of the shorts out there are either short shorts or bermuda shorts.  I'm looking for something in between preferably in a trouser style with a button tab closure in a slimming dark color.  My max is $50.

I'm not sure if these are what you're wanting but I have these from the Gap and LOVE them.  They're right in between being short shorts and bermudas.  I think they're flattering also.

fyi, I was just in express and all of the shorts in that style were on major clearance.

Thanks everyone.  I tried the Express pair and the front pleats were very unflattering to my figure.  I'm trying to slim down my thighs and I think they drew more attn to them.

I ended up getting these at NY&CO for only $10 in Navy:

THE VESTRY STREET SHORT

I wanted them in black, but my store didnt have any left in my size.
