I saw a pair of shoes similar to these (closed toe and much cuter IMO but couldn't find a picture) at a BCBG store- and they were on sale- and I'm really thinking about getting them but I'm concerned that they're too trendy and will be "out" for fall...I think they look really cute w/wide leg jeans, black tights w/skirts, etc., but I'm concerned they'll look really dated really fast...What do you girls think? I think they'd be around  $100...Honest opinions please! smile

Too me the fact that they are closed toe makes all the difference. I'm a little tired of seeing these peep toe shoes. I say go ahead and get them. Wedges will be around for a while.

patent is still strong for fall and platforms will be hot as well - wedges don't seem to be going anywhere soon, as far as a peeptoe - that's pretty classic, albeit trendy at the moment. I think you could get a good year of wear out of them without them looking dated.

I think they're cute. And the closed toe will work well for the fall, especially if you want to wear them with wide leg jeans.

And I am personally a HUGE fan of patent shoes. They add a little pizzazz I think.

Personally, I'll never stop wearing wedges or patent leather. I do think the shoe above (wedge, patent, peep toe) is borderline dated because all those things are hot right now. However, I think the closed toe makes a huge difference and will be great for fall.
