I broke my ban for these.  They were on sale at Delia's.  If I hate them I will just send them back.  I was planning on buying green boots for fall anyway so that is really not breaking my ban, is it? wink 

The description say that they have leather "uppers".  What exactly does that mean?

It means that the footwear is made of leather.  If they were made of vinyl or something, it would say "synthetic upper."
