Do any of you guys know if you can throw bath puffs in the washing machine? Would they just snag and get trashed? I always threw them away , but now I feel guilty about doing that.

I think it would snag and pull apart. Might work in one of those lingerie ball things though? or tie it up in a pillowcase or something?

I used to put them in the washing machine and they didn't hold their shape.  They would end up a lot bigger and not as tightly compacted...if that makes sense.

I would just throw them away, they're usually so cheap in price anyway.

This might sound weird, but I would think that putting them in the dishwasher would be gentler than the washing machine. Might be worth a shot and if it doesn't work out, you're only out like a buck or two.

I think I've put mine in a lingerie bag before to wash them in the clotheswasher. One of mine expanded and loosened too; I actually liked it that way. Dishwasher is worth a try. Good idea. Probably gets them cleaner.

I meant I feel bad throwing them away 'cause of the environmental damage. I wish that they could be recycled. hmm

I don't have a dishwasher, but thanks all for the suggestions. Maybe time to switch to washcloths, I just love the foam that the puffs make.
