I hate usps right now! I was still waiting on a decision from a law school in LA. I called today to see when I could expect a decision, and she told me that my letter was mailed on the 30th of May. It is now June 18th! She said she'd resend it, so now I have to wait another week. + I don't think I was accepted.

End rant - I hate the mail! angered.giffrustrated.gif

I'm sorry...that is so frustrating.

ITA...the USPS is just not what it use to be.  I recently sent shower invitations out...I sent out 40 and 4 did not make it to the invitees...a 10% failure rate is unacceptable imo.

Also, I just received a package from Anthro which shipped DHL via the USPS, it took almost 2 weeks to arrive...again, for the money Anthro charges for shipping it is unacceptable, especially in this day and age with so any other options available.  I'm seriously ready to boycott any on-line vendors who choose to use the USPS.

With all the competition from UPS and FedEX plus the general use of e-mail the USPS should be striving to do it better than everyone else...I guess it's just yet another mismanaged goverment organization...but that's another rant...

anyway...hope you hear soon and it's good news!

That is really frustrating,That happend to me when I applied to schools.
Luckily I could check my status on-line so I already knew when the letters showed up three-four weeks later.

The mail carrier on my route likes to play games. 

If you have your flag up for mail to go out he will NOT put the flag back down.  So one day I thought the mail never came until it was still up the next day!  I refuse to put it back down myself.  Not my job.

As this "game" escalates he may or may not take your mail you need sent out.  One day I put a bill in the mail box that needed to go out which was on Friday and that piece of crap didn't take it!  I was worried it was going to be late.

A few days ago we didn't get our mail.  Then the next day the mail said "mail box blocked". WTF?  How could the mail box be blocked?  Lazy ass.

WYF! That is ridiculous! It is HIS job to put the flag down. And the fact that he sometimes doesn't take your mail? I would call your local post office and complain about him. He is doing you a very big disservice - it's his JOB to collect and deliver mail. What an asshole!

Sweater girl, that sucks. I hate ordering from American Eagle for the same reason - because they send via USPS and it takes sooo long. I love UPS though - they actually update tracking info, and they NEVER have lost a package for me.

Thanks for letting me rant, ladies. I just hate the mail. It's terribly disorganized which, IMO, is unacceptable in this day and age.
