can i pull this off?

i was in a local boutique today looking for something to wear to a party this weekend and this dress caught my eye, mainly because i really like yellow & grey together right now. i like it and it's comfortable, but it's a bit of a stray from my usual style so i want to make sure that it's a good stray and not a fashion don't on me. which is where you girls come in. :) so let me know what you think -- yea or nay?

See, I think that looks very "Smash" to me. I think it suits your style and the colors and the cut are great, plus it's unique, which is what I think of when I think of your style. Definitely a keeper.

I agree with this. I think that the only "stray" I see from your usual style, is that it's not as fitted as most of the other clothes I've seen in your other outfits. And while I personally prefer fitted styles overall, I think that dress looks really cute on you (because it's not too loose fitting). Love the pattern, especially with those shoes!
