I would like to stay under $100 or so, and I don't care if it's a men's watch if there aren't women's watches like this.

I first noticed this style on Carrie on Sex and the City.  Mary-Kate Olsen also has one, as seen below.   This is the style I'm going for.

I would try looking at men's watches instead of womens. That will help get the chunkier look like MK's.

Thanks for the help girls!

I started browsing men's watches on Amazon.com.  What do you think of these two?  I'm trying to get as close as possible to the style of Mary-Kate's above.

I have a watch "collection" and have quite a few men's watches in the collection.  One thing to be careful of is the ability to shorten the length... I have a fairly small wrist and a few of my purchases have had to be returned because the band wouldn't go small enough. 

That being said, here are some from overstock (I buy a lot of watches from them and really like them):
