Thanks again for the support. I know it seems odd to come to strangers on the internet with something so personal, but I don't really think of you guys as strangers. We have such an intelligent diverse group of women, I knew you could give me different perspectives.

As a side note, a great girlfriend of mine is going on vacation with me. We are thinking Domincan Republic for an inexpensive all-inclusive. I'll post in travel if any one has any suggestions.

I wanted to commend you for being couragios enough to realize that this was his dream and not yours and to make the best decision for your long term well being. Obivously since he ending things between you both, then this was more about him than you as a couple anyways.
