I posted about a wedding we are attending in southern IL, it's a 4pm wedding but only a few will actually wear cocktail attire. I really wanted this dress, its cotton:

But now I found this, and wonder if it's more appropriate, it silk seersucker. I like it too. Which do you guys like?

I think the silk seersucker is more appropriate for a wedding...  BUT love them both.

I think either is appropriate. The top one is cotton, therefore making it less dressy and the bottom one is seersucker making it less dressy than cocktail attire. I think you will be fine in either dress so I would get the one you love the most.

personally I love the seersucker, but it sounds like it will be a casual wedding then you could get the first if you love it more.

I really like both of them, so I think it comes down to which one fits better- that is, if you can try them on.

I like the top one better, but feel like the second one might be slightly more appropriate for a wedding. I think the top one would still be okay though, since it will be really hot in southern IL.

#2 would be a better wedding dress, I think, unless the wedding was more casual.

Oh man this ones a toughy!
I love the first one and if you were to wear that one you could probably make it more "dressy" with some cute heels. The second one is really pretty also but for some reason I'm more drawn into the first one. And I think it would also be easier to wear the first dress for another event in the summer or fall.

I prefer #2. I think they'd both work but I like the second one more. Part of what makes me hesitate on #1 is that it seems like a style that has the potential to be rather unflattering, but if you've already tried it on then you know it looks good!

I really love both and think both would work, but the shapes are totally different so I would go with whichever one is more flattering on you (maybe that will make your decision a little easier)
