Hi girls, I hardly get to post as much as I like to nowadays, but with summer here I hope to post as often as I usedto back in Fashionhag.

I need help, my got a Coach purse from my sister for Mother's Day, she recently discovered it had a small pen mark on the side of the person (FYI: my mom is a clean and neat freak, so she does not know how it happened).

We went to the Coach store and they said it was pretty impossible to get the mark off the purse. Apparently its a pebble leather style. Any advice you may have would greatly be appreciated for my mom. Thanks!

Maybe try hairspray? This works great for getting ink marks off fabric, but I've never tried it on leather.

my friend mixes alittle bit of woolite with water to remove stains from her bags....BUT I wouldn't reccomend it in this case, god forbid it messes up your MOM's coach bag....

this is what I would do.......go to the nearest coach store, or just call, and ask one of their reps how you should go about it, worse comes to worse, they will replace your bag. believe me, they have GREAT customer service.

I'd actually be shocked if they just replaced the bag. I have a pebble leather bag and the forgot to mention when I bought it that it was possible that the color from my jeans would transfer when I wore it... Anyway, the only suggestion they had for me was to take a soft eraser and gentlely erase the mark. It didn't get it completely off, but the intensity of the stain was decreased. I'll never buy their pebbled leather again... I would also try searching the coach forum at forum.purseblog.com. Good luck!
