I'm having a really crappy day and need to vent!

I had to get a prescription for Malaria pills and typhoid vaccine before going to Belize in 3 weeks. So I took my 'scripts in to the pharmacy on Wednesday and they told me they don't normally carry the typhoid one so it would have to be ordered and I could pick it up the next day. Fine, its all good. It wasn't ready until Saturday. Ok not a big deal. Then I go to pick it up they only have my typhoid. Not only did they not fill my malaria 'script, they completely lost it. Paper and all, they never even entered it into the computer. And then they had the nerve to blame me and say that I never brought it in and it was my fault. The pharmacist was totally rude to me and it really pissed me off. All he had to do was call my Dr and have it faxed over, but instead he had to call me at 8 am this morning and "try to figure out who's fault it was" by blaming me. Jerk. And why the heck does it take 6 days to fill 2 stupid little prescriptions?

So then I went to go for a run and I grabbed my iPod...which somehow has been completely busted. It was in my purse all weekend (I last used it Friday) and this morning the screen is completely spider webbed, smashed. Like someone stepped on it. F@#$^%!!!!!! I have no idea what happened to it and since I'm not working, I can't afford to get a new one yet. :( So when I go on vacation I no longer have my iPod to entertain me on the 9 hour flight. Bummer man.

What an annoying day.

Dude- that does totally suck. If it makes you feel any better by comparison/sympathy, my Hep A/Typhoid will will run me about $240 (don't even ask...it IS the student/employee discount and I refuse to go to a health center for this). Seriously. The two dose Hep A is $80 a piece and the Typhoid is $70. Not including the lovely scrips for the anti-mal and the anti-craps drugs. It's frigging costing more to get my shots then the damn house for the week. Course, better safe than sorry, right? 

And you can borrow my Not-Ipod. :) If you want to bring a couple CD's down here we can even load them onto my player for you. I know this doesn't help you for the flight down here but it's something, right? Do you just need the screen replaced? Is yours under warranty or something? 

On the plus side- we're going to Belize in less than a month! And I look super stupid in a floppy hat! biggrin
