I am so sorry you are having to face such a hard decision. I had a border collie Tina for 14 years and cried for two weeks when she died, and still do after two years if I see a puppy that looks like her. It is a very hard loss to deal with as our animals are a huge part of our lives. I hope you can just know that you helped her live a happy, long life and maybe that can help you just a little at least. Take care of yourself too.
It's amazing how pets REALLY are a part of your family as well. I know you'll miss her, I got all teary-eyed just reading your post. I'm sure she will be missed, just remember the good times you two shared......

Awww...hon, I'm so sorry. Your post literally brought tears to my eyes. Tiger sounds like such a wonderful cat and I'm sorry that you have to go through this. It's so awful losing a pet. My heart goes out to you. When we had to put one of my childhood cats to sleep I literally cried for days. I hope it goes alright for you and for Tiger. At least she won't be suffering any more.
I am so sorry. I read this post from work today and I almost lost it. Take comfort in knowing she led a full, happy life thanks to you. My thoughts and prayers are with both of you.
