Yuck! I have actually stayed in a couple of really raunchy motels when my husband was in the Navy and we were too broke to rent an apartment. I couldn't believe the one with the mushrooms growing from under the carpet. Ewwww!!

gross. One time I was going camping and the drive took too long for us to set up so we searched for a cheap motel to stay in until the sun came up. We found a place that looked like Norman Bates owned it... He offered us a large room which was so disgusting.. the tubs were clogged, there were spider webs behind the headboard. There was a box with someone's belongings in it, including a stroller and childrens toys! My boyfriend wanted to stay but I refused. Plus they were charging something like $120 for the night.
