Tropical accents for the garden?
Permalink Closed

Howdy!  Does anyone know of any on-line sources for tropical garden accents like pieces of bamboo, signs, statues, etc. I have found a couple sources for pre-made tiki huts and such but nothing so far for the raw materials.... Hubby is handy and could make anything (for a lot less than I see things for now!).

Thanks

I've seen quite a bit of raw bamboo in all different sizes at both Home Depot and Lowes, and some other tropical -inspired garden accessories (tiki torches, etc) as well.  It's a pretty popular theme .... you could also try an imports store like Cost Plus World Market for signage, statuary, or other premade things.  Might find things like grass mats or whatever that you could repurpose/use in a project.

This site looks like an awesome resource, too:

Elle - thanks so much. These sites look awesome and the prices are not bad! I have never seen anything like this at a local Home Deport or such (I live in Raleigh, NC) - what state do you live in?

Hmmm, that's odd!  I'm in Oregon - they've got all sorts of sizes and lengths of raw bamboo in all the garden centers here ...

Hope you find what you're looking for!
