Hotcocoa, I love that little pendant you bought, it's so organic looking.

I am super excited about my new addition to my Chie Mihara collection.  I just ordered them today and hopefully they'll arrive early next week.  They are wedges and just perfect for casual summer wear, God, have I been looking for something like these for awhile, but never thought I'd find something so darn cute!

drew- i saw these at a local boutique and thought they were so cute!  can you review for comfort factor (i tried on a few other chie shoes and they were VERY comfortable).  Also, did you have a code for that site?

thanks!  the dress is coming.  right now she is working on the lining b/c the exterior with the satin needs to be one piece & draped as she goes.  i'm trying on the interior this weekend so we can decide on how full we want it and how long and then she'll start working on draping the fabric on it.

i'm so impressed with the fabric.  we purchased from a fabric store in Chicago that my mom visits about once a year.  we bought silk duchess satin for $60 per yard.  & ALL of the $3000-$7000 dresses i tried on at various wedding dress shops were POLYESTER!  so i'm thrilled that i will end up with a quality dress for a MUCH cheaper price!  in fact, my shoes cost more than my dress!  wink

Love your Chie Miharas.  I just found a pair on Yoox (pinkish slingbacks).  I had tried on a similar pair in a b&m store and felt so sad and regretful that I didn't buy them at the time.  Mine are adorable and comfortable.

this vintage dress from ebay. it reminds me of an eley kishimoto dress i wanted a few years ago. (and ok, sort of yellow submarine-ish, too) i also bought some more dream tisha bras from ebay.

I went into Anthropologie with the intent of shopping JUST the sale items, and I went a little nuts and bought items mostly NOT on sale.  i've resolved to clean out my closets and sell a bunch of stuff on Ebay to make up for these purchases:

I fell in love with this dress.  It has a trapeeze style to it but with the cinched waist it looks cute with the ribbon tie or I could see it with a braided wide belt too:

Lynnie, I would be happy to review those for you.  I ended up buying them from sodafine.com because they had them cheapest ($316.50 w/standard shipping, I think they ship today from NYC so I'm hoping for Tues arrival).  I'm sure they will be super comfy; that's Chie Mihara's thing, she practically designs orthopedic shoes (actual she does, she has a pair that I am going to buy for my B-Day present, they're on the Sodafine and pedshoes website). 

LRae9107, You should post a picture of the shoes if you can, I love, love seeing Chie's designs.  They are like eye candy for me.  I think she's my hero, sigh.
