I need your help!

My bf just got transferred to houston with only a day notice.  He desperately needs to find a place and only has a week to do so.  He is really looking for something furnished but if unfurnished is cheap enough thats fine.  The location he wants is the midtown area.  Can anyone give any recommendations?

Also, im going to visit him this weekend... he is currently staying at a hotel downtown, I will have a rental car so looking for some good restaurants for us to go to and any other advice

Thanks!

So how did you like Houston? I didn't see this email in time but did you check out Midtown? I live there now, but I'm moving in two months. I'll definitely miss it.

I just got back from Houston on Tuesday.  It was really nice.  My boyfriend actually decided to live in Midtown and we ate at a restaurant in midtown called cyclones something... it was mexican.  We also ate at Mark's, not sure if thats considered midtown.  I also dragged the bf to the galleria.  We were only able to get through half of it because its sooo massive, but hopefully when im living there this summer I will have time to see the whole thing (its so hard to shop with guys).

If you have any suggestions of places to eat or shop or anything...  let me know!  We don't really know the area very well at all, yet.

I just saw this but there was a post in travel and tourism a while back.

I really like Sambuca. It's in downtown on Texas St. www.sambucarestaurant.com It's a little pricey but well worth it.
