Yay! Congrats on finishing! I'm a month from finishing (technically- paper is due the 21st, final poster presentation is middle of June) and I know how good it will/does feel. I hope you go out to celebrate somehow- shoes or a bottle or two of wine.

holy crap, you guys are so sweet to remember! thank you for asking, it went really well. The good comments the critics gave me were about the most important parts of the project, like that I really carried my initial concept throughout the whole design. Nothing is more deflating than having critics tell you they don't see your concept evidenced in the design. And I agreed with almost all of the ways they identified in which I might have made it stronger; in fact a few of the comments reflected things I'd realized myself were problematic, but too late in the process to really do anything about it. So overall it was very good!
It's such a huge relief to have it over--I'd actually finished the work over a week ago, because I had to hand the files off to the printer and then turn in the boards a few days before the presentation, but I hadn't realized how much it was still on my mind until I was actually really done. It was great to see all my classmates' work, too; everyone worked their ass off and some people's was flat-out brilliant. I was so happy and proud for all of my friends.
Here are some of the boards and images. The design was for a small business incubator for start-up designers in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. I picked an old industrial building and mixed in a lot of industrial materials and finishes with more polished and sustainable ones.
