Does anyone have any hotel recommendations for these areas that are reasonably priced but nice?  It will be our honeymoon but we are hoping to spend less than $200 a night.

Also any tips or recommendations for visiting these areas would be great aww

Your trip sounds like so much fun!!
In bangkok, we stayed at pathumwan princess....it was pretty nice! It was about $110/night....our room had huge windows, and the hotel has a good pool.  It's located next to the subway. I booked it through www.asiarooms.com.
Try to go to the Chatuchack weekend market (it's huge...miles long)  and they've seriously got everything you can imagine. Cute clothes, jewelry, food, animals, art, homeware, antiques...etc.
oh, and if you've got time for an excursion, Ayuthaya is just an hour and a half away. Totally worth trip for the incredible temples...

I haven't been back to Thailand in years, but my father's favorite hotel in Bangkok in your price range is the Dusit Thani hotel. What time of year will your honeymoon be?

I also highly second Ayuthaya.

I'm not sure if you've already booked your rooms, but I went to Tokyo last November and stayed at the Mercure Ginza hotel. I booked the hotel straight from the company site, but you can use any of the websites.  It's part of the Sofitel network so maybe they have options in the other places you're going to visit.  If I'm not mistaken, it was less than $200 most nights.  It was only about 2 blocks from one of their main shopping streets and within 2-5 mins. for a subway station.  I was happy with the hotel and the area.  I'm sorry I can't help with the other places, but wish you luck.
