Someone please help me! I have tried and tried to post replies in the weekend shopping thread (and I have tried to reply to other posts), but I can a message that crashes Explorer -- it says "Runtime Error."

Do you know what might be causing this?

Try deleting your cookies and temporary internet files in the interim, and I'll contact the forum host. I'll post here what I find out.

I left a message for them (they're in British Columbia, so they may not be there yet.)  I told them what the problem was and your member name, so they can come and take a look.  Hopefully you'll be up and running normally soon...

I just got off the phone with the host.  Apparently 1 in 10,000 people have this problem and it has to do with your computer and the possible presence of a "ghost."

Within your stylethread profile, your settings have been changed to the beta editor. This should fix the problem.  Apparently, downloading FireFox will also fix this problem without changing the editor to beta.

The beta editor is new and they are testing it out right now instead of making it a default setting for the forum. I personally like the original editor since it enables you to embed a YouTube video.  If you choose to continue using the beta editor vs. downloading FireFox, please let me know what you think of it so I can share it back with the host.

Anyone can change the editor within their profile settings if anyone else would like to try it out and share their opinions on it.

I have been having this issue as well. I found that I can post in the quick reply area so that is how I have been responding. If I try to hit on reply or quote in someone else's post I get that runtime error and my stylethread window will shut down.
