I am not sure if I am nuts or or just havn't had my coffee yet, but I am on a birkenstock kick...and maybe I need some taming into reality. I havn't worn them since highschool, but when I was lived in Germany everyone wore them, and they had an outlet there, so I tried these on and they were actually cute. I like the third pair..... I don't dress very "granola" but sometimes I think they add a cute laid back edge. I saw a couple thread posts of girls that had the silver ones, and they looked adorable........Any thoughts on birks????? Or should I opt for a more streamlined pair of sandals?

I love birkenstocks myself, but tend to wear them around the house. I do like the silver ones though - I could see me wearing those out and about...

Ditto. I have those. Love 'em. I've decided that I also need some brown birks.

I don't think there's a drop of hippie-ness in me, but I would still wear birks. After all they are both comfy and casual...and in the summer, that's what I require.

I have a couple pair that I wear a lot in the summer.  Of the ones you posted, I like the 2nd and 3rd pairs the best.

Happyfeet.com..actually they are $62 :) That was the cheapest I found, I can do a review when I get them ;) The style is Gizeh in Golden.
